Life Science (Jones)- Study the classification hierarchy using King Phillip ....; how to use a dichotomous key, and the animal phyla and their characteristics.  There will be a quiz on Thursday, November 17.


Advanced Science (Jones)- Study Particle Theory notes and Classifying Matter notes.  Read the notes on Atomic Theory. Work up to p.40 on the 6th grade review packet which is due Friday.  There will be a quiz on Matter on Thursday, November 17.

February Parent Communication Blog March 9th is the District Band Assessment! Reminder: Only CLEAR water bottles with CLEAR water inside are allowed in school! Homework/News from Teachers Jones:  Advanced Science- The Matter Scavenger Hunt was due on Friday.  Be sure that you have submitted your final product through Google Classroom. Life Science- Quiz on Protists and Fungi next week. Hall: Perry LA+:  Students should read for 20 minutes each night.  2/13: Finish at least one page of your draft and write five questions a reader may have about your writing (like we practiced in class on 2/13). This is homework, due Tuesday, 2/18.  2/20: Students should have more than one handwritten page of their draft, with elaboration techniques underlined or highlighted (like we practiced on 2/18 & 2/19). 3rd Quarter IR Projects are due Wednesday, Mar. 26th.
