Oyster Festival Education Day is Thursday, October 31st. Because of the field trip, 7th graders should not wear costumes that day. They should wear closed-toed shoes and bring a jacket or sweatshirt because it can be cool near the water.
Signed permission slips should have been returned by Tuesday, 10/29.
Homework/News from Teachers
Jones: Advanced Science- We have begun a new unit on DNA and Heredity. Study your notes.
Life Science- Study plant cell structures and organelles. Be able to compare and contrast plant cells and animal cells.
Our next "Ketchup and Pickles" day is Tuesday, October 29th. Ask your child about this!
Hall:
Perry LA+: Students should read for 20 minutes each night. Quarter 1 IR Projects are due Wednesday, October 30th. If students need additional time, they may turn their projects in on Monday, Nov. 4th without penalty so long as they attach a well written one-paragraph explanation of why they did not meet the initial deadline.
