Advanced Physical Science (Jones)- 
1.  There are review sessions assigned in Study Island in addition to an assigned session on Force and Motion.
2.  Be sure to check Google Classroom because I have added PowerPoints for our current unit of study and some vocabulary words to be defined in preparation for class on Wednesday.
3.  In the event that we do not have school on Wednesday, I will be adding more assignments.

The Science 8 SOL is scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 2017.  You should be reviewing nightly. Use your 6th and 7th grade review packets to assist you.

February Parent Communication Blog March 9th is the District Band Assessment! Reminder: Only CLEAR water bottles with CLEAR water inside are allowed in school! Homework/News from Teachers Jones:  Advanced Science- The Matter Scavenger Hunt was due on Friday.  Be sure that you have submitted your final product through Google Classroom. Life Science- Quiz on Protists and Fungi next week. Hall: Perry LA+:  Students should read for 20 minutes each night.  2/13: Finish at least one page of your draft and write five questions a reader may have about your writing (like we practiced in class on 2/13). This is homework, due Tuesday, 2/18.  2/20: Students should have more than one handwritten page of their draft, with elaboration techniques underlined or highlighted (like we practiced on 2/18 & 2/19). 3rd Quarter IR Projects are due Wednesday, Mar. 26th.
